Say You’ll Be There: Spice Girls Tour officially announced

The Spice Girls have announced a six-date UK tour for next summer with tickets set to go on sale this Friday.

The four girls, excluding Victoria Beckham, are set to descend on stadiums around Scotland and England for the first time in in over a decade.

Mel B let it slip on Loose Women on Monday and wasn’t sure if she should have divulged the details. This was followed up later in the day with a tongue in cheek news bulletin set up in front of studio cameras.

When pushed by Ruth Langsford during the show about how long Mel B had been keeping the secret, she appeared to let slip that the “tickets will go on sale on Friday” quickly putting her hand to her face saying “was I supposed to say that?”

Mel B, 43, took responsibility for the last tour ending early due to her marital problems and as such “was so determined to get us all back together, and I’m still determined that it will be all five of us at one point, but for now four is better than nothing.”

Scottish fans will be happy to see a date north of the border, 8th June: Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium. With the only notable performance in Scotland recently, having missed out on the last tour, being Mel C’s headlining of Glasgow Pride earlier this year to thousands of attendees.

The other 2019 dates will be:
1st June: Manchester Etihad stadium
3rd June: Coventry Ricoh stadium
6th June: Sunderland, Stadium of Light
8th June: Edinburgh BT Murrayfield stadium
10th June: Bristol Ashton Gate stadium
15th June: London Wembley stadium

Tickets will go on sale on Friday 10th November at 10:30am here.
