Glasgow Clyde College fundraising to help fight homelessness

Students at Glasgow Clyde College are fundraising to support people in new tenancy after a period of homelessness.

The students from NQ Level 6 IT at Cardonald Campus are collecting on behalf of Starter Packs, a charity based in Govan.

Starter Packs provide essential household goods to people as they move into their new homes, helping them to sustain tenancy and make the place a bit more homely.

The main focus of the fundraising is on gathering bedding, clothing, kitchen ware and hygiene items.  It is asked that any pillows, duvets and pots are new.

Any donations can be handed in to the GCCSA office or in Room 4.8, preferably at lunchtime.

The deadline for donations is the 7th December.

To donate, fundraise or help in any other way visit the Starter Pack website here.
