Miss Scotland 2018 wearing a dress designed by Glasgow Clyde students
The Fashion, Textile & Design Department at Glasgow Clyde College is appealing to students to take part in a fashion design project. Those interested would design and create their own fashion garments.
The 4-week project will be led by Heather Archibald, Senior Lecturer at the Cardonald Campus.
The project focuses on how a buyer’s involvement in the design process can change the way we buy and own garments. The aim is to make you more attached to your garments.
The workshops will run once a week on the following dates:
Tuesday 29th January- 6-8pm
Tuesday 5th February- 6-8pm
Tuesday 12th February- 6-8pm
Tuesday 19th February- 6-8pm

To take part in the project students should have no previous fashion design experience and be female between 16-26 years old.
Spaces are very limited and if you are interested in taking part, students are asked to email: harchibald@glasgowclyde.ac.uk
